Production Line Relocation
Production line relocation planned around downtime — sequenced dismantling, tagged conveyors and controls, transport and reinstallation to layout drawing.
Production Line Relocation
Moving a production line is a downtime problem before it is a haulage problem. Every hour of the plan is measured against lost output, so the sequence matters more than the vehicle count.
We dismantle, tag, transport and reinstall complete lines — conveyors, robots, controls, guarding and services — to your layout drawing, working to an agreed restart date.
What the Job Actually Involves
Downtime plan agreed first, then the dismantling sequence built backwards from the restart date.
Every conveyor section, cable, pipe and panel tagged against the as-built drawing.
Robots moved at defined safe positions with counterweights and travel locks fitted.
Staged loading so the line is reassembled in the order it comes off the trailer.
Reinstallation, alignment and service reconnection ahead of your commissioning window.
How We Run It
Site survey first, covering access, floor loading, lift and door dimensions, and the exact equipment list.
A written method statement and risk assessment issued before the move date, with named crew and lifting plan where required.
Out-of-hours, weekend or shutdown execution so operations and trading are not interrupted.
Full goods-in-transit and liability cover, with agreed values recorded for anything high value.
Sign-off at destination against the inventory, with photographs and condition notes.
- Questions We Get Asked
How long does a line move take?
Typically one to three weekends depending on line length and service complexity. We phase it so partial production can resume where the layout allows.
Do you handle the electrical and pneumatic reconnection?
Yes, through qualified trades, up to the point of commissioning by your controls engineer.
