We relocate ULT freezers, fridges, cryostores and sample inventories with continuous temperature logging and a documented contingency at every stage.
What the Job Actually Involves
Temperature excursion limits agreed in writing per material before the plan is built.
Continuous data logging in transit, with the log handed over as part of the sign-off pack.
Dry ice, LN2 or portable powered units used according to the hold time required.
Backup capacity identified at destination in case power or plant is not ready.
Freezers transported upright, stabilised and left to settle before restart to protect compressors.
How We Run It
Site survey first, covering access, floor loading, lift and door dimensions, and the exact equipment list.
A written method statement and risk assessment issued before the move date, with named crew and lifting plan where required.
Out-of-hours, weekend or shutdown execution so operations and trading are not interrupted.
Full goods-in-transit and liability cover, with agreed values recorded for anything high value.
Sign-off at destination against the inventory, with photographs and condition notes.

Can freezers be moved full?
Sometimes, for short distances with a validated hold time. More often we transfer contents to monitored transport units and move the freezer empty — safer for both the samples and the compressor.
What happens if the destination power is delayed?
We hold the material in monitored backup capacity and continue logging until the receiving units are stable.
