A fume cupboard cannot simply be unplugged and carried out. It must be decontaminated, certified safe to handle, isolated from ductwork and services, and reinstalled so it can be revalidated.
We relocate fume cupboards, biosafety cabinets and extraction equipment for laboratories across the UK, coordinated with your decontamination contractor and recommissioning engineer.

Full goods-in-transit and liability cover, with agreed values recorded for anything high value.
Sign-off at destination against the inventory, with photographs and condition notes.

A specialist decontamination contractor issues the certificate — we coordinate them into the schedule and will not move an uncertified unit.
Can you move a ducted unit between buildings?
Yes, including the external duct sections where they are being reused, subject to a survey of both installations.
