We relocate machining centres, lathes, grinders and EDM machines with axes locked, ways protected and the machine re-levelled on arrival ready for alignment checks.
What the Job Actually Involves
Axes locked and travel restrained to manufacturer instructions before lifting.
Coolant, hydraulic oil and swarf drained and contained under environmental controls.
Chip conveyors, tool changers and control cabinets removed and transported separately where advised.
Lifting from designated points only, using the machine's own lifting eyes and spreader beams.
Re-levelling on jacks or mounts with precision level, ready for ballbar or laser verification.

Site survey first, covering access, floor loading, lift and door dimensions, and the exact equipment list.
A written method statement and risk assessment issued before the move date, with named crew and lifting plan where required.
Out-of-hours, weekend or shutdown execution so operations and trading are not interrupted.
Full goods-in-transit and liability cover, with agreed values recorded for anything high value.
Sign-off at destination against the inventory, with photographs and condition notes.

Will the machine hold tolerance after the move?
With correct locking, lifting and re-levelling it should. We re-level to spec on arrival; final geometry verification is usually done by your service engineer.
Can you move machines out of a basement or first floor?
Yes, with a lifting plan, load-spread arrangements and, where needed, structural steel or crane access agreed with the building owner.
